How can I try your monitoring service?

Simply sign up with free-trial. It will be free for the first alert, or for 30 days without downtime. You will then decide if you want to extend your subscription.

How often does the robot verify the availability of the website?

Depending on your subscription plan, our robots check the availability of your site every 5 minutes, every minute, or every 10 seconds!

What is the difference between BASIC, PRO, and BUSINESS plan?

Subscriptions difference is mainly the frequency of availaibilty checks you want for your website. Do you need a check every 5 minutes, every minute, or every 10 seconds?

How to remove the monitoring of my website?

Disjoin is automatic, just do not renew your subscription. Your data will be deleted after 6 months of activity, or earlier, if your request it.

Can I change my subscription plan?

Of course, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan when you renew or extend your subscription. The remaining days will be proportionnaly transferred to your new subscription plan.

Are the SMS alerts really unlimited?

Yes, SMS alerts are unlimited. You only pay a fixed subscription price, you do not have to credit an account or otherwise. There is no additionnal or optional cost.

Will your monitoring system will consume my website/server bandwidth ?

Our HEAD requests are very light, their response also. With 1 KB by sent queries and 1 KB per request received, for a check every minute, the consumed bandwidth would be for a day 1440 KB, or 1.4 Mo of upload and 1.4Mo of download. Because the limits of hosting services are very high nowdays, the consumed bandwidth by our monitoring system is completely insignificant and invisible.

Is the robot of the monitoring will increase my visits statistics?

No, we send only HEAD requests, thereby, your page is not downloaded, and your tag of statistics is not triggered. Our robot will not be counted as a visitor. However, they will be registered in your web server logs. To avoid them to appear, go to the next question.

How to remove HTTP-Alert hits from my apache/nginx logfile ?

Simply exclude the IPs of our robots of the logs.

For Apache, add the following lines in your .htaccess file:SetEnfIfNoCase User_Agent "http-alert" dontlog
For Nginx, add the following lines in your config file : map $http_user_agent $log_ua {
~http-alert 0;
default 1;
}
Then add main if=$log_ua; at the end of your line that specifies the path to the logs: server {

In which countries can I use HTTP-Alert?

You can use HTTP-Alert to monitore the servers of any country in the world. However, you can receive SMS alerts only in the following countries: Andorra, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.

Where can I find my invoice ?

You can find your invoices on your control panel, by clicking on your name at the top right of the page, and then on the ' Subscriptions/Billing' link.

What are the available payment methods?

We accept payments by credit card, paypal, or bank transfer.
